Who We Are

THE NEW AFRICANS DEVELOPMENT

The NAD is an non-governmental organization deeply rooted in personal experiences that triggered a profound commitment to fostering sustainable development across Africa.

Our CEO, growing up experienced challenges that quickly curbed his childhood robbing him of safe, found and loving childhood memory. As such The NAD is founded with a vision of building a society where every child has the right to survival, prorotection, development and participation.
At  The NAD, we believe in the power of personal experience and local knowledge. We aim to work, starting within ourselves to find the solutions to our problems, even as we create safe, nurturing and enabling environments for children in our societies to grow responsible adults.

Our approach is to develop culturally relevant, sensitive and sustainable solutions to problems via all our interventions/initiatives.

Who We Are

THE NEW AFRICANS DEVELOPMENT

Our mission is to empower African youth and create transformative change by focusing on holistic and sustainable development strategies. We believe that every child, regardless of their circumstances, should have the opportunity to thrive and contribute positively to their communities.

One of our flagship initiatives is a mental health campaign for youth in Ghana. This campaign, inspired by our CEO’s personal experiences, aims to increase awareness of mental health issues, reduce stigma, and improve access to mental health services. We incorporate sports and games into our campaign, using these popular activities to engage youth and promote mental well-being.

In addition to our mental health campaign, The NAD runs several other programs aimed at promoting education, reducing poverty, improving health outcomes, and fostering innovation. These initiatives align with our mission of ensuring every child’s right to survival, protection, development, and participation.
