The New Africans Development (NAD) has taken another meaningful step toward improving access to quality basic education in Ghana’s North East Region with the donation of sandals and essential learning materials to pupils of Najong No. 1 Gbingbanmon Primary School in the Bunkpurugu/Nakpanduri District.
As part of NAD’s Foundation Educational Project, the organization donated 100 pairs of sandals, exercise books, textbooks, pencils, pens, erasers, footballs, and other educational supplies to support children from underserved communities. The initiative is aimed at reducing barriers to education and creating a more conducive learning environment for young learners.
Speaking during the presentation, NAD’s founder emphasized the organization’s commitment to positively impacting at least 5,000 schoolchildren in the district this year. Pupils were encouraged to take their education seriously, maintain good discipline, and remain focused on their dreams, while teachers were urged to continue nurturing the children as future leaders of Ghana.

This intervention builds on NAD’s continued support for the school. In the previous year, the organization donated 100 dual desks, 50 school uniforms, books, and other learning materials, significantly improving classroom conditions.
The Headteacher of Najong No. 1 Gbingbanmon Primary School expressed heartfelt appreciation to NAD for its sustained support and appealed for assistance in establishing a school library, noting that access to books and learning resources is critical in today’s evolving educational landscape.

At New Africans Development, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn with dignity. Through partnerships, community engagement, and targeted educational interventions, NAD remains committed to empowering children and strengthening schools across rural and underserved communities in Ghana.
